The cat was very hungry, and he wanted to work to earn money and buy food, so he moved between the jobs of a blacksmith, a carpenter, a doctor.... but he failed in them until a mouse appeared in front of the shop..........

It is a short story that comes within a group of short stories for children presented by Dar Al-Manhal entitled “The Reading Club, Snjoub’s Tales.” The Reading Club series “Sanjoub’s Tales” includes ten children’s stories that develop scientific concepts such as: (colors, numbers,.....) and educational concepts such as: cooperation The importance of work, humility and courage. At the end of each story, a song includes the events of the story, and then the key words around which the story revolves are explained.
