- The life of Sultan Selim Khan I, whom the Ottomans called: "Yavuz", meaning: "the cutter", as presented by Okay Teriak Oglu in his novel, is a life of struggle with power and over power in its various manifestations, especially political and religious. He is the warrior prince Selim, who will be known as Sultan: "Selim I" or Shahzade Selim, who inherited from his grandfather the conqueror the nine qualities of brave heroes.
