The item comes in two pieces ( stairs & slide) to assemble.Assembly is very easy and straightforward.Material, feels solid. The item appears safe enough.The slide itself, however, feels very short .. I had imagined it a little longer for a more fun sliding down experienceMy toddler generally enjoys it
