Description
- The Moka Express Oceana is available in three different sizes:
- 6 cups (produces up to approximately 250 ml) - ideal for two people.
- Made in Italy, the Moka Express features a patented safety valve that is inspectable and easy to clean.
- Instructions for Use:
- Fill the lower boiler with water under the valve.
- Insert the funnel and fill it with ground coffee for moka (slightly coarser than espresso)
- Remove any remaining coffee from the rim of the funnel.
- Fix the top of the machine securely to the bottom. Avoid using the handle as a lever.
- Choose the burner size to fit the bottom of the machine.
- For gas stoves, ensure the flame does not exceed the diameter of the bottom of the machine to avoid over-scaling and scalding the coffee.
- Place the machine on the heat until the water boils and the coffee begins to bubble from the center base. You will hear a fizzing sound during this process.
- When the top of the machine is full of coffee, remove it from the heat. Brown foam appears moments before the coffee is finished.
- Before pouring, stir the coffee in the upper boiler with a teaspoon to distribute the different layers and achieve optimal flavor.
- Cleaning: Hand wash the machine in warm water and do not reassemble the product until all parts are completely dry to avoid oxidation.
- Do not use soap or detergents and do not place it in the dishwasher.
