This booklet contains a bilingual Arabic-English dictionary (“English-Arabic”), prepared by the two lexicographers for use by young people in general and students in particular, including beginners who are still in the early stages of their study of the English and Arabic languages. Since this dictionary is a pocket dictionary, the two lexicographers were careful to include only the basic words and essential meanings that are widely used. They also intended to contain within its covers the largest possible number of words in the least possible space on paper.
