Description
In the story (Natural and Manufactured Materials), we learn that sweets are made from sugar that we get from plants, and woolen clothes are made from wool we get from sheep. There are many materials that we get directly from nature, such as: rocks, minerals and wood, and then we manufacture them such as furniture, paper, glass and cement. The last pages of the story (Natural and Synthetic Materials) offer a number of practical activities such as making strawberry jam, making a wool animal, some games, instructions and important information for the breeders.
