This is the story of a kind elephant who lived happily in a rich forest. He was unaware that there were wicked people in the world who harmed others to achieve their own interests. Evil hunters tricked the elephant and conspired against him: they dug a pit the size of his path and covered it with grass, so he fell in. Then they divided into two groups: one group beat him severely, while the other comforted him and fed him, but wouldn't let him out of the pit! They repeated this charade until he trusted those he thought were his friends, and they pulled him out of the pit. Soon, both groups enslaved him, and they repeated the same act with others until they controlled the forest and subjugated everyone to plunder its resources. This is how the people of forests and the inhabitants of countries are tamed!
