The little ostrich lives in the forest with its family, within an ostrich herd. Whenever the hunters came, the herd would flee, while the ostrich would bury its head in the dirt. Her father taught her that she should run from the hunter instead of hiding her head. He also warned her of the consequences of flying, for it is true that ostriches are birds and have two wings, but they are unable to fly, due to their large size.
