Dar El Shorouk Youssef Zidan's Novels: Nabati

The events of the novel take place in the twenty years preceding the conquest of Egypt, and in some of its scenes, the conqueror Amr ibn al-Aas, his wife Rita (Raita), and the companion Hatib ibn Abi Balta’a appear, in addition to fictional characters through which the narrative text reveals the nature of life, human beings, and religious trends that were prevalent in the region. Extending from the Nile Delta to the north of the Arabian Peninsula, at a time when Islam appeared and spread east and west.
