"My Father Is Abraham" is a novel inspired by the story of our Prophet Ibrahim, and a general atmosphere for it, draws some basic scenes from the true course of the story, and adds other scenes and characters for the sake of dramatic necessity. His thought hinders his sight, and his insight from reaching the facts. The situation escalates between Abraham - the child, and between the institutions represented by his father and grandmother, and the priests of the temple. Ibrahim embarrasses them with many questions and discussions, trying first to contain him by traditional methods and silent answers. But that does not work for him, so they try other ways, such as bringing in a special priestess to treat him. But Abraham turns the situation on the priestess, and the matter turns against her instead of against him. With the escalation of the situation, Ibrahim’s search deepens, and gets closer to the truth, by nullifying the idea of pagan pluralism on which his society was based. It was made only by one God who is capable of that. But his statement of this makes him in a greater confrontation with everyone - the truth threatens lies, and truth expels falsehood, and all of that made everyone on alert against our master Abraham.
