Aseer: The Red Cloud Book

The book “The Red Clouds” connects two parts: “Leafs of Roses” and “Letters of Sorrows” to be the mediator of the contract and the climax of the story of Al-Rafi’i with his heart that wished, then loved, and then was afflicted with estrangement. In this part of his tale, Al-Rafi’i shows the extent of the contradiction between the state of the lovers during the connection and after the estrangement, stressing that there is no quarrel more severe and violent than the quarrel between two lovers of hatred. In this book, Al-Rafi’i depicts the effect of the hatred that erupted on what sprouted and arose at the time of arrival, so hatred comes blazing for every hope nurtured by love, and the bitterness of pain prevails to overwhelm the sweetness of the memory, as if it had never been. Al-Rafei also refers to the generation of estrangement from accusation, suspicion, and deception in love, then he moves to talk about the philosophy of hatred, recklessness of the heart and meanness of women. Al-Rafi’i depicted, through his misfortune, the condition of the human heart, which falls captive to love without hope, neither in connection nor in healing, so he has no choice but to shout with all his soul pain, foreshadowing a weak hatred that will never be complete towards the beloved.
