Description

This wonderful novel of the poor or (the poor), this is a deep study of the human soul! Dostoevsky is now twenty-four, and he wrote it, alone, with the fire of his burning passion and with his burning tears. For the most cruel humiliation to which a man can be subjected, namely, poverty, has been inspired by it, sustained by the great power of this world, namely, by the love of those who are tormented.

The circumstances in which Dostoevsky wrote this novel are completely different from any other novel, as he began writing it while he was in prison, and it is one of her first novels, as critics consider it a description of the human conditions of Dostoevsky's facilitator in prison, and therefore we can consider it a group of pages that talk about The human psyche and its influence on the surrounding circumstances. During his novel, the writer dealt with a large number of types of people who differ with each other in the nature of life and social level, as well as the aspirations of each of them and the reason for their existence behind these bars.
