Description
Tolstoy wrote this book in defense of the truth in the face of the forgery and fabrication that befell the Islamic religion and the Prophet Muhammad - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - at the hands of the missionaries’ associations in Kazan, who portrayed the Islamic religion as false and attached to it what is not in it. Tolstoy presented the argument and established the proof for the plaintiffs when he chose a group of hadiths of the Prophet, and he included them after an introduction of great significance and clear intent in which he said that the teachings of the author of Islamic Sharia are lofty wisdom and lofty sermons that lead man to the right path, and are not less in anything than the teachings of the Christian religion, and that Muhammad is the founder and messenger of the Islamic religion, the religion that is owed in all parts of the globe by two hundred million souls (that the book was written). In his last book, Tolstoy promised that he would write a large book called "Muhammad" in which he would discuss more topics.
