Aseer Alkotb Ali Bin Hazm Al-Andalusi: The Pigeon's Collar

The book Tawq al-Hamamah is the most complete of what the Arabs wrote about love and its meanings, manifestations and signs. In it, Imam “Ali bin Hazm al-Andalusi” presents detailed chapters in which he left almost nothing related to love from near or far without speaking about it. At first he spoke about the nature of love, and then detailed everything until he finally reached two chapters in which he explained the ugliness of sin and the virtue of abstinence, including in this valuable book the most salty and sweetest Arab poetry.
